The Date

I chatted with my oncologist's nurse yesterday for the next steps. She told me we could  schedule everything together so I would not have to make two trips. Yes I know forty five minutes is not horrible but with the added downtown Dallas traffic no thank you;) So that day I will meet with them in the morning to go over all my home meds and last minute questions, then well go downstairs and get the first chemo treatment. The first treatment is administered over eight hours all IV, yeah no port. The other two are much shorter about hour and half. So the big start date is November 8. If all goes well my last chemo will be December 20.  I can do it about two months. After that I will have a few week break then start radiation. That will be with another doc so well finnd out about all that later.
